Blessed Is the One Who Trusts in the Lord

Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit. — Jeremiah 17:7-8 

As someone who trusts in the Lord God, I am blessed.

My confidence is in the Lord.

And He promises that I will be like a tree planted by water that sends out its roots by the stream.

The tree doesn't worry when it gets hot.

Its leaves are always green.

It has no worries in a year of drought.

Likewise, when I feel tired, dried out and weary, I too should not worry.

That tree never fails to bear fruit.

My life can bear fruit when I put my trust in Jesus my Lord and Savior.
