Live in Harmony With One Another

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty but associate with the lowly. Do not be conceited. — Romans 12:16

God calls us to live in harmony with others.

Even when we disagree with them.

Even when our opinions differ.

He commands us not to be haughty.

And to associate with the lowly.

And not to be conceited.

We can't do that without His help.

So grateful that He is our guide.

Rejoice - Mourn

Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.  Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. — Romans 12:15-16

For the past two weeks, we continue to mourn with Kirk's family in the loss of his dad, our father-in-law, grandpa and friend.

Today we rejoice in the birth of Rebecca Chapman's new baby.

We are thankful that the Wraa family will have a new home and new jobs in Pennsylvania while we mourn the loss of this wonderful family in our church community.

We mourn with the Jones family in their dad's stroke and hospitalization.

God's plan for the circle of life is good. We mourn for those who are now in heaven with Jesus while we welcome new life into our world.

It brings the difficulty of losing loved ones and the joy of welcoming newborns together. Living in harmony with one another, supporting others, rejoicing and grieving together.
