In Christ You Have Been Brought to Fullness

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. — Colossians 2:9-10


Christ embodies the fullness of the Deity.

All the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form through Him.

And in Christ, I have been brought to fullness.

He is the head over every power.

And He is over every authority.

Christ May Dwell in Your Hearts

So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. — Ephesians 3:17-19 

When Christ dwells in our hearts through faith, we are filled with the fullness of God.

My coworker is getting ready to move.

So we met for coffee with her baby.

Kya is now 12 pounds at 5 1/2 months.

She was smiling up a storm before and after this photo!

Her mom is raising her to become a woman of God.

Being rooted and established in love, together with all the Lord's holy people.

To know Christ's love that surpasses knowledge.

That she may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Making Peace Through His Blood

For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. — Colossians 1:19-20 


Through Jesus, God paved the way for us to be reconciled to Him.

Yesterday we celebrated Easter with family and friends.

He is risen! He is risen indeed!

Through Jesus, God reconciled to himself all things.

Both things on earth and things in heaven.

Making peace through the blood of Jesus, shed on the cross.

We praise Him for His mercy.

The Unity of the Faith

Until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature person, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. — Ephesians 4:13


Now that it's May, our flowers have decided to bloom.

Our rose bushes were just buds a week ago.

Today they're bursting with blossoms.

Just in time for May Day!

And for Becky's birthday.

And Sheri's.

It rained a couple of days ago and now the blossoms are opening.

God's beautiful creation, reminding us that he helps us grow in faith.

Until we all reach unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God.

We Have Received Grace

 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. — John 1:16


Jesus came to pay the price for our sin.

He brought us mercy and grace.

Out of His fullness we have received grace.

Today I received my official notice that they found no cancer in my last test results.

Kirk opened the letter.

Nice to see it in writing.
