Praise and Honor and Glory

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” — Revelation 5:13

Today, the last day of 2022, we praise God for His glory.

He has brought us to the end of another year.

To the beginning of a new one.

And to new life in Him through Jesus His Son.

To Him be praise and honor, glory and power.

He is worthy of our praise.

And we are undeserving of His blessings.

Come and See What God Has Done

Come and see what God has done, his awesome deeds for mankind! He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the waters on foot—come, let us rejoice in him. — Psalm 65:5-6

Come and see what God has done.

He has shown His awesome deeds to us.

He turned the sea into dry land.

The Israelites passed through the waters on foot.

Their enemies were destroyed.

Come, let us rejoice in God our Savior.

He is risen!

He is risen indeed.

Happy Easter!

The Vast Sea

There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number— living things both large and small. — Psalm 104:25

God created the sea.

We are looking forward to returning to the beach this summer.

Not for the crowds, but for the ocean water.

The chance to swim and boogie board and cool off on a hot summer day.

And to walk along the seashore, collecting rocks and shells.

Watching the fish teem in the shallow areas.

Enjoying God's creation.

Worship God, the Creator

Worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the fountains of water. — Revelation 14:7

God created the heavens,

the earth,

the sea,

people, animals, birds, fish,

plants and trees,

fountains of water.

We are thankful for beautiful days when we see butterflies flying around our Cassia Gold tree.

And the for the sun shining down on us, giving us vitamin D.

Yesterday I hiked down Mission Trails with some friends before church.

It was really cold when we started, but it was also a beautiful morning.

Praise be to the Lord!

The Knowledge of God

The earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. — Isaiah 11:9

Happy New Year!

As we begin a new year, I am reminded of God's love for us.

He created the heavens and the earth.

And He created me and my family.

I have no doubt about the fact that God is our creator.

The earth is full of the knowledge of the Lord.

Just as the waters cover the sea.

The Glory of God

The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. — Habakkuk 2:14

Today I met with my radiation doctor. The same one my friend Mariley had!

The good news is that I will only need four weeks of treatment (Monday - Friday).

They will not need to target the lymph nodes.

This will be preventative to make sure the cancer does not return.

What a huge praise!

My brother Steve just got a new job. He will hopefully no longer need to work 7 days a week, 10 hours per day.

Another huge praise!

The earth is filled with the knowledge of the glory of God.

Let the Sea Roar

Let the sea resound, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy; let them sing before the Lord. — Psalm 98:7-9

What a wonderful word painting. The rivers clap their hands, the mountains sing for joy.

Another Bible passage says, "even the rocks cry out"!

Friday night Ernie and Marion brought us dinner, appetizers and dessert. Kirk grilled the meat, and Marion made a delicious cucumber spinach salad. Yum!

What a fun evening reconnecting and laughing together.

Let the mountains sing together for joy.

Let them sing before the Lord!
