Children of God

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. — Galatians 3:26-28

In Jesus we are children of God through faith.

We were baptized into Christ.

And we have clothed ourselves with Christ.

There is no longer male or female in teh eyes of Jesus.

We are all one in Christ!

Children of God Through Faith

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. — Galatians 3:26-28

When we were baptized into Christ, we were clothed with Him.

Now we should not look at each other in light of our differences.

Rather, we are all one in Jesus.

He doesn't see us as male or female.

Jesus doesn't count us as slave or free.

He doesn't' see Jew or Gentile, Catholic or Protestant.

We are now one in His eyes.

We Are All Children of God

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. — Galatians 3:26

We are all children of God.

Through faith in Jesus, God has adopted us into His family.

All who were baptized into Jesus Christ are His children.

We have clothed ourselves with Christ.

Here's the congratulations dessert we shared over the weekend.

We are praising God for blessing us with our home and family.

Heaven Was Opened

When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” — Luke 3:21-22

When Jesus was baptized, He prayed.

While He prayed, heaven was opened.

The Holy Spirit descended on him like a dove.

A voice came from God in heaven

Saying, You are my Son.

I love you and am well pleased.

We have opportunities each day to show our love for Jesus.

Each One Is Part of the Body of Christ

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. — 1 Corinthians 12:27

We are each part of the body of Christ.

He has baptized us into His family and has filled us with the Holy Spirit.

On Friday we will celebrate the life of Tina Thompson.

She was part of our church family and served as pastor and in other roles at several churches.

She served at Ladle Fellowship and on the session of our church over the years.

Her smile was infectious.

Here is a photo of our street choir, some of whom are also Ladle guests.

We are each part of the body of Christ.

Children of God

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. — Galatians 3:26-27

I am a child of God in Christ Jesus.

Through faith, we believe this to be a true statement.

My family and I were baptized into Christ.

We have clothed ourselves with Jesus.

Even so, we have to take up the armor of God and clothe ourselves anew each day.

To know what God's will is for me, I need to read His Scripture, which is the sword of the Spirit.

When I do, God helps direct me throughout the day.

His Spirit guides me and keeps me on the right path.

What a comforting way to start off the new month.

Here is a mug warmer that Mary made.

She quilted one for us with a Christmas theme.

I can hardly wait to use it!
