I Praise You, God

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. — Psalm 139:14

God's works are wonderful.

I'm very aware of His goodness as our Creator.

I praise You, Lord!

I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

As are all of His creatures and creations.

His works are wonderful.

This is the Legend rose in our backyard.

The scent is amazing.

And the petals shimmer like velvet.

God's works are wonderful!

Heaven Was Opened

When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” — Luke 3:21-22

When Jesus was baptized, He prayed.

While He prayed, heaven was opened.

The Holy Spirit descended on him like a dove.

A voice came from God in heaven

Saying, You are my Son.

I love you and am well pleased.

We have opportunities each day to show our love for Jesus.

The Trees of the Lord Are Well Watered

The trees of the Lord are well watered, the cedars of Lebanon that he planted. — Psalm 104:16-17

Lime Tree
God gives us the trees and plants.

Here's the lime tree in our back yard.

Our neighbors have cedars along the side of their yard.

God planted the trees and covered the earth with them.

He brings the rain.

It was raining last night and this morning.

Yesterday I met with the edema therapist.

She confirmed that I have some edema and some fibrosis - scar tissue from the radiation.

The exercises she gave me should help both.

And I need to wear my compression sleeve when I walk or drive or exercise.

I will see her again in a video chat in a couple of weeks to see if they have helped.

She will help me determine what else I can do to minimize the swelling.

God provides therapists for guidance and trees for shade.

We are blessed.
