The Lord Supported Me

When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. — Psalm 94:18-19

God's love supports me just when I need it most.

When my foot starts to slip, He is right beside me to keep me from falling.

His love is unfailing.

When I start to get anxious, the Lord consoles me.

He brings me joy!

Your Consolation Brought Me Joy

When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. — Psalm 94:18-19

The Lord supported me when I was unexpectedly hospitalized.

His unfailing love surrounded me.

When I felt my foot slipping, he held me up.

When anxiety should have been great within me, I was at peace.

God's consolation brought me joy.

His right hand held me and supported me.

God's Unfailing Love

When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. — Psalm 94:18-19

God's unfailing love supports me no matter what comes my way.

When I am anxious, He consoles me.

His love brings me joy.

When my foot slips, He helps me up.

He supports me when I can't stand on my own.

When I was anxious, God's consolation brought me joy.

He calmed my fears and took away my anxious thoughts.

He loves me!

God Will Not Slumber

He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber. — Psalm 121:3

Saturday night I made beef stroganoff.

I tried the Pioneer Woman's recipe and it was delicious.

I cooked spaghetti squash for me and egg noodles for my family.

I'm reading a book called "Radical Remission" to find out what others have done to keep cancer at bay or eradicate it completely.

Some of the things these people have in common include:
a plant-based diet
regular exercise
a supportive community

I am blessed to have so many of these things.

My friends and family have been a huge support to me over the past year.

Here's the view of angel island and Alcatraz from Pier 33 in San Francisco.

Thank you, Lord, for watching over us.

God Brought Me Joy

When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. — Psalm 94:18-19

Any time I felt the least little bit of anxiety, God consoled me.

His love brought me joy.

When I was about to slip, the Lord held me up and supported me.

Last week I made blueberry muffins to say goodbye to my friend Jennifer, who is moving on to another bank.

She got the gluten free version.

The rest of us got muffins with lots of gluten, pictured. The muffins brought joy to my family as well as to my coworkers.

I forgot to put sugar on top of one batch.

Kirk said he prefers those, since the sugar falls off the other ones when he eats them and he ends up with sugar all over him.
