Between the Two of You

If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. — Hebrews 15:18

Sometimes it's hard to keep things just between two of us.

We want to spread the word.

And show that we're in the know.

But when we point out someone's fault privately, they can work on it themselves.

When we gossip, it's just like this alligator at the zoo.

Way too much to handle.

If they listen, you have won them over!

Praise the Lord.

The Lord Will Keep Us From Harm

The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life. — Psalm 121:7

The Lord God will keep us from all harm.

He is our guide and protector.

God watches over us throughout the day and night.

Just as He watched over the people of Israel as they traveled in the desert.

Providing them with a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.

Guiding them each step of the way, even when they grumbled and complained.

He guides me each step of my way, even when I grumble and complain.

Even when I ignore Him and go my own way.

He still cares for me as a loving Father.

Adopting me into His family.

Thank you, Lord!

The Lord Is Awesome

For the Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth. — Psalm 47:2

This was the venue for the wedding we went to on Saturday.

Located in the Beacon Hill Events area of Spokane.

While there we also toured Abby's alma mater, Whitworth University.

And we flew home yesterday on a flight with 7 other guests from the wedding.

The beautiful scenery was a reminder that the Lord is awesome.

God Most High is our creator.

He is the great King over all the earth.

And He created my sister, Becky, whose birthday we celebrate today!

God Will Not Slumber

He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber. — Psalm 121:3

Saturday night I made beef stroganoff.

I tried the Pioneer Woman's recipe and it was delicious.

I cooked spaghetti squash for me and egg noodles for my family.

I'm reading a book called "Radical Remission" to find out what others have done to keep cancer at bay or eradicate it completely.

Some of the things these people have in common include:
a plant-based diet
regular exercise
a supportive community

I am blessed to have so many of these things.

My friends and family have been a huge support to me over the past year.

Here's the view of angel island and Alcatraz from Pier 33 in San Francisco.

Thank you, Lord, for watching over us.
