God's Surpassing Greatness

Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. — Psalm 150:1-2

Our friend Edna gave my name to her prayer group and to her church. Her Bible study group sent me a beautiful card. 

It reminded me of the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta Mikado or the opera Madama Butterfly. Edna also asked her church to create a prayer quilt for me. 

So Sunday our neighbors San and Susan went to church and heard my name mentioned for prayer. 

Then they said prayers for me as they tied knots into the prayer quilt that Edna had requested. 

They did not know Edna, but they recognized my name. What a small world!

And what a great God we serve. Praise Him for His surpassing greatness!
